My Story Is Out: High School Years
(09-19-13) -- Do you have a humorous, heart-warming, wistful, insightful or inspiring story about your high school experience as an LGBT teen?
The author of the award-winning young adult LGTB fiction book, The Trouble with Emily Dickinson, is currently seeking stories to include in a new anthology called, My Story Is Out: High School Years. This groundbreaking project is intended to be a collection of personal real-life stories about surviving high school as an LGBT teen and coming out on the other side.
The goal of this book is to create a network of support for LGBT students, so that high school doesn't seem like such an overwhelming and unwelcoming place. If your personal story is one that turns tragedy into triumph, one that finds love in the most unexpected way, or one in which you learned a great deal in spite of the struggles you may have endured -- it's a perfect fit for this anthology.
If you want to impact the hearts, lives and souls of LGBT teens all over the world by contributing your story to My Story Is Out: High School Years, please follow the submission guidelines listed at: www.mystoryisout.com.
Story submissions are open to anyone of any age. Thank you for your interest!
