Richard Morgan Productions is proud to announce that filming for the first season of "West Hollywood 90069", its new and groundbreaking LGBT web series, will begin in early 2013. Six eleven minute episodes, featuring just over an hour of sexy story lines, will air over the course of six weeks.
"Ever since 'Queer As Folk' went off the air I've felt there was a need in the LGBT community for more shows from our community," the show's creator and producer, Richard Morgan, states, "but without millions of dollars and network support, it seemed impossible. Today, technology offers the ability to produce high quality shows for a fraction of what they used to cost, and then distribute them via the internet. As an LGBT show produced for LGBT audiences," he continues, "the response I've been getting from Hollywood's creative community has been wonderful."
A new episode will premiere weekly, featuring a cast of sexy up and coming actors, with some of Hollywood's top talent behind the camera.
"We've already collected over a hundred headshots and resumes from some very talented, great looking actors, including some from the Screen Actors Guild, who hope to audition for roles in the show," Morgan adds, "They've come on board for this because it gives them a chance to work on something that expresses who they are."
The series will also count on audience support, which is where you come in. Each episode will be financed through donations* made at www.kickstarter/westhollywood90069 while a permanent home with an established network is sought. In using crowd funding, "West Hollywood 90069" plans to offer a unique reward for each individual episode: from an Executive Producer credit for contributions of $1,000 or more, to a personal "Thank You" in the credits for smaller contributions.
"We're just putting it out there and hoping the community gets behind us on this and contributes," Morgan concludes. "It's the first time this has been attempted, and if it's successful, hopefully doors and minds will be open to even more LGBT themed programming and entertainment."
Richard J. Morgan and the Team thank you for your time and would appreciate any free promotion you can offer in your media!
